Progress Review Day, Friday 24th November 2017

We invite you for the next Progress Review Day. This is your opportunity to discuss your child’s progression with their Mentor.

We value good communication between the school, parents and students. An aspect of this are the Progress Review Days that are introduced throughout the year. These are days when the timetable is suspended and students come into school for an appointment with their Mentor to review their progress across the school experience, with Parents invited to attend. The first one of these days is scheduled for November 24th 2017.

The appointments will be scheduled for 10 minutes and you have an opportunity to choose a convenient time by logging onto the Parent Evening Manager site and select Progress Review Day from 08.00 Monday 13th November and attached to this letter is a guide on how to do this.

Wherever possible, we would encourage Parents to attend these appointments as this will develop the communication between home and school. Even if a Parent or Guardian is unable to attend, the student must attend. The meeting will review progress both academically and socially and is seen as an opportunity to raise any queries you may have, which can be addressed at an early stage.

Students should only attend school for their appointment and they must be in full school uniform.

It is with regret the following teachers will be unavailable for appointments:

Mr Barrett is unavailable for appointments, if you have any questions or concerns please email the Year 9 Progress Leader Miss Fitt sfi@ifieldcc.co.uk

Mrs Corrick will be unavailable for appointments and therefore, the appointment you had booked is now cancelled. If you wish to discuss your son / daughter's progress, please e-mail Mrs Challen who will be more than happy to arrange a specific appointment at an alternative time. Mrs Challen's e-mail address is lchallen2@ifieldcc.co.uk
