Children in Need, Friday 17th November 2017

Our theme to help raise money for this year's Children in Need day was dress as a character from a movie.

In the lead up to Children in Need our Student Council panel got together with Mentor groups to come up with ideas about how ICC could raise money for this worthy cause. During break and lunchtime, students arranged the following activities:

Cake sale, raffles, name the teddy, guess how many sweets,  sponge the teacher, use your mobile phone in the staff room and many more.

This year we introduced a competition for the best fancy dress costume for students, Mr Corbett and Mrs Murphy-Dunn judged and the winner won two tickets to the cinema. The Sixth Form judged the best costume for staff who won a bottle of Prosecco.

A fun day was had by all. A huge thank you to the Student Council, and everyone involved in making this a fantastic and memorable day. The total figure so far raised, an impressive £1248.32, a massive well done .
