End of Summer Term 2022

Mr Corbett ended the school year with a whole school assembly on the school field.

Mr Corbett reflected on what a successful year it has been for ICC and how proud he is of the school community.

As the school settles back to normality, we welcomed back school trips, IBacc trips, graduations prom and the Sponsored Walk.

Students were awarded for Hegartymaths, Accelerated Learning and Science awards.

Sixth Form ambassadors introduced themselves to the student body.

We were overwhelmed with the amount of fund-raising ICC students took part in over the year and raised a whooping total of £9,180. Thank you all for your kind and generous donations.

November - Children in Need £735.00
December - 35 Christmas boxes were collected by the Easter Team to help families struggling at Christmas.
December - Christmas Jumper Day £500.00 donated to Greenaway Foundation.
February - Valentine's Day £333.00 donated to Sussex Aid for Refugees.
March - Red Nose Day £908.00
June - Diversity Day £1621.00 shared between Welcome Refugees and Crawley LGBT Group
July - Sponsored Walk £5083.03 shared between NHS (SASH) and Save the Children Ukraine Appeal.

Sadly we said our farewells to Mr Commins, Cover Supervisor and Mrs Nobbs, Food Technician who are moving onto pastures new. We also said our farewells to Mr Lowe, Assistant Headteacher who is retiring after 22 years of teaching Science and Mr Packman, Senior DT Technician who is retiring after 28 years and 11 months of service. We wish them all the very best for the future.

Finally, we would like to wish all our students and their families a lovely enjoyable summer.

See you all in September.

(Please remember we return to our original school day, where the school finishes at 3pm)
