This is an unusual year. We normally have a programme of induction activities in our school that allow our new students to experience school, visit their classrooms and meet their teachers. Sadly, the government guidance for schools will not allow us to do that this year, for very good reasons to keep your child and family safe. 
 
We are looking at ways to effect transition differently. We hope to provide a tour of the school virtually and get welcome greetings from key staff who will support your child. We are considering offering an induction day on 20th July and/or on 2nd September but we will confirm these later. Our website is a good place to find up to date information. We are waiting for advice on these dates and how to conduct the days safely. We will also send a pack with information to respond to your key questions. 
 
As we are so unsure, I am not able to give you more detail but I know that you are keen to be informed and we will do all we can to make sure you know as soon as possible what we can offer.
