Fundraising for Comic Relief

Students and staff enjoyed fundraising for Comic Relief on Friday 15th March.

A great day was had by all at ICC for Comic Relief, students and staff dressed as a character from a movie or book.  During break and lunchtime students set up fundraising stalls from selling second hand books, guess how many sweets in the jar, treasure hunt, raffle tickets for Easter eggs, pie face and sponge throwing, and many more!

Well done to all the students who dressed up and congratulations to the student dressed as the icon from Diary of a Wimpy Kid Book who won two tickets to Cineworld and to the Science Faculty who dressed as Disney movie villains.

The finale of the day was Mr Corbett, Headteacher and Mrs McIver-Wren being ‘gunged’ by a Sixth Form student and a student from the school’s Student Council whilst the whole school watched and cheered on.

Well done to everyone, we raised £1390.78
