Membership

Students are issued with a library card enabling them to borrow up to 5 items for 2 weeks. Items may be renewed if not reserved by another pupil. Students may suggest items that they would like to see added to stock.

Library/LRC staff aims to promote reading for pleasure and to raise the profile of reading. The school librarians regularly organise reader development activities such as book fairs, competitions and author visits. Library/LRC staff are always happy to assist students in the selection of reading material.

Accessit the LRC Management Software

Students have access to Accessit, the computerised catalogue, which they can use to look up the resources that we hold and whether they are available, to see recent additions to stock and to reserve items. Accessit also offers a communication channel from library staff to students, including signposting to online resources, study skills, research skills and much more! For more information, check out the library catalogue yourself: https://uk.accessit.online/ifl00/.
