Pupil Premium

Ifield Community College Pupil Premium

Pupil Premium is additional funding given to schools so that they can support their disadvantaged pupils and close the attainment gap between them and their peers.

Our pupil premium strategy can be accessed below.

The Pupil Premium grant is paid to schools for students who are recorded as being eligible for Free School Meals in the last 6 years, who are ‘Looked After’ or who have a parent serving in the armed forces.

Pupil Premium Strategy 2023-2026

At ICC we also champion pupil premium subsidy process should PP students require financial support to access the wider curriculum or for uniform and equipment.

Please note that subsidy is not guaranteed as once the ring-fenced funding is spent during an academic year no more subsidies can be provided.

Pupil Premium entitlement can be from:

  •  Pupils in years 7 to 11 who have received Free School Meals (FSM) in the last 6 years or have no access to public funds (NRPF)
  • Looked-after children (LAC) defined in the Children Act 1989 as one who is in the care of, or provided with accommodation by, an English local authority
  •  Children who have ceased to be looked after by a local authority in England and Wales because of adoption, a special guardianship order, or child arrangements order (previously known as a residence order)
  •  Pupils in year groups reception to year 11 recorded as Ever 6 service child or in receipt of a child pension from the Ministry of Defence

If you wish to query your child's entitlement, please email the school at office@ifieldcc.co.uk
