Admissions

Applications for a school place at ICC are managed by West Sussex County Council. Please see links at the bottom of this page for information how to apply.

Application for a Year 7 Place

Applications are online through West Sussex County Council Admissions.

All parents should apply for a school online at www.westsussex.gov.uk/admissions. When you submit your application you will receive an email containing the information on your application as confirmation that your application has been received. Please be aware that all the contact information which you provide will be shared with the allocated school to facilitate transition arrangements.

Year 6 into Year 7 Transition Day: We appreciate that the transition from primary to secondary school can be a cause of anxiety for both parents/carers and students. To help students make a smooth transition into the college we have an transition day in July where the Year 6 students follow a timetable and get to know the school and meet the teachers. For dates and information, please see: Year 6 into Year 7 Transition Information.

Open Evening: We hold an Open Evening in the winter term for prospective Year 7 students and parents/carers.  For more information on this evening please see: Open Evenings

Applications for Special Education Needs Students

For children who have an EHCP the Special Educational Needs Assessment Team (SENAT) try to arrange placements earlier in the year than other pupils, so that they can take account of specific needs and the preferred choice of school or college.

Please see Special Education Needs page for details.
